A 500 sample poll of likely voters in Missouri done for Fox Television stations on December 12, 2007 by Rasmussen shows that Jay Nixon leads Matt “baby” Blunt 47% to 42%. The poll has a margin of error of 4.5%.

In the same poll dubya doesn’t fare so well:

1. How do you rate the way that George W. Bush is performing his role as President? Excellent, good, fair, or poor?

17% Excellent

16% Good

18% Fair

48% Poor

1% Not Sure

Those true believers are going to hang on to the end, eh?

The poll also shows concerns for the state of the economy. Not good.
