I am 66 and had a minor heart attack in May. I am now taking 6 pills a day. I asked my pharmacist to figure out how much tax I will pay if Rex gets his way. She calculates it to be about $140/year. I am probably reasonably average or even on the low side for my demographic (geezers). If I am average and if you grant that there are 700,000 people in the set then that is $98,000,000 new tax on seniors for their medicine. That will pay for Rex’s three year refund.
