Good question.
How close is Missouri’s stand you ground law to the one in Florida?
Is anyone looking at it to determine whether it needs to be changed?
Markos does ask a good question: Where is the NRA on this? This seems to be an argument for why EVERYONE needs to be packing. If Martin had been packing, he could have shot first. After all, Zimmerman was stalking him.
I recommend Digby’s elaboration on the killing of Treyvon Marin.
Actually, throughout American history, it has almost always been a black male’s offense to refuse to answer a white male’s question.
