This is an example of the main reason I do not subscribe to the P-D. Presented with crucial facts that would significantly alter the story they wanted to tell, the Post-Dispatch chooses to ignore them entirely. Knowing that Breitbart serially pushes distorted stories, they chose to repost his side of the story. Knowing that unedited versions of Breitbart’s videos debunk the edited versions, they conveniently forget to look at the full-length versions.
And of course, knowing how badly the Post-Dispatch consistently gets these political stories, which usually rely at best on “he said, she said” narratives, that doesn’t really give me a lot of confidence in the reporting in the other sections of their paper.
