Did you hear Todd Akin on St. Louis Public Radio this morning [Monday]? When asked about health care reform, he said that people who don’t have health insurance should be helped by “charity.” Even Don Marsh [“St. Louis On the Air”] couldn’t let that one go unchallenged. He asked, “How do we budget for charity?” Akin said he didn’t understand the question. [More on the interview to come in another diary entry. Promise.]
