and this is the first think that I learn about Missouri’s contribution to health care dismantling … McCaskill just keeps on keeping on … maybe we can do something about that in the future.
One reason Big Pharma’s been quiet during the insane health care debates in the Senate is that both the House and the still-unknown Senate bill don’t do anything that compromises what they see as their long-term positive outlook.
Thus, this vote was an easy one for Claire probably because a large chunk of Missouri voters wouldn’t know how to get drugs from Canada in the first place thus, this issue isn’t one to her immediate constituents (right-leaning Repups and Repup Lites, all 34.56 of them). She likes easy votes.
