My good (if he could have found anybody else credible, he’d have backed him) buddy, Jack? Hmph, now that “Jack” knows there’s nobody credible in the entire state to oppose Blunt, he’s not so much supporting and endorsing Blunt as bowing his head to the inevitable.
Oh wait, maybe Roy wasn’t talking about Danforth at all, but about his other good buddy, Jack.
