The New York Times Magazine did a photo shoot of over fifty individuals titled “Obama’s People”. Senator Claire McCaskill is the subject in the thirty-ninth photo, between Robert M. Gates and John D. Podesta. As far as I can tell there is no particular importance implied by the placement of the portraits in this photo gallery.
The images were shot with a white background.
seems like some are slightly lacking in the last piece of context as to the events occurring before the picture was taken, some were good and interesting and some were good and surprising.
Considering I have exactly 0 hours of photography classes under my belt (as some can tell from seeing my digital camera shots in posts).. there may be deeper meaning that I am not mentioning. But it seems like some people really come off well, and some come off showing something surprising that you just don’t see of them on television.
