This morning i received an email from my Field Organizer (Warrensburg,Mo.) that Sen.Obama would be speaking to all the NTL’S (Neighborhood Team Leaders)through a conference call in Missouri, we(2500 team leaders in Missouri)were told to call him on a certain number and then put in our password. Sen.Obama was very pleased of our work in Missouri (Show me state), he said we have shown a lot of progress to him through our efforts but more has to be done since Missouri is a crucial battleground state. Hence, it is important that we knock on doors, call up people and tell them that the time for change has come. Sen.Obama also told us that he might be coming to Missouri one more time before the elections, which was certainly very encouraging to know. All in all, it truly was an out of the world experience, i mean just a few days back i saw him in Kansas City, Mo., and now talking with him on telephone was a unique experience. I mean i guess its all these reasons that the world loves the Senator so much, i mean he gives so much importance to us “The American People”, and not the elites of Wall Street. Trust me friends, it is with this president that the Main Street will be the main focus of the American administration, unlike the last 8years to whom it has all been about the Wall Street Cats. I say it is enough, enough of George Bush, enough of McCain and enough of GOP, and lets put our leaders of the Democratic party in the White House, Congress and the Senate. After all, just like MLK we all believe in the importance and urgency of now, and now is the time for change.

…during the primaries. The call was set up for military veterans (I’m ex-Navy) and he described what he intended to do to help support returning servicemen and their families.
The coolest part? Hanging up the phone and telling my bride, “I just got off the phone with Barack Obama.”
