Wonder how little one has to spend to file a limited activity claim?
But numerous people who have contacted the Tribune this week expressed disdain for a call that implies Graham, D-Columbia, and U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., threw a booze-filled party to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the first-term state senator’s DWI arrest.
“The drinks will be flowing at the Tiger Hotel,” a recorded voice says. “Chuck Graham knows how to party.”
There’s more
The robo call also suggests listeners RSVP Graham’s chief of staff, Ted Farnen, at his home phone number. “And remember to keep his number handy in case you get pulled over on the ride home,” the message says. “Cheers!”
Graham said Farnen received roughly 20 messages about the call.
The article goes on to note the ties between the KC-based American Democracy Alliance, Citizens Taking Charge, and Jeff Roe. Basically the ADA gives money to CTC, the CTC gives money to Roe for direct mail and phones.
But CTC only has good intentions!
Citizens Taking Charge is a committee that was set up by people who are tired of too many taxes, too big of a government, and too little accountability. They asked me to be treasurer as I had some knowledge and previous experience with Missouri Ethics Commission rules.
In other words: “I am a pawn”
The one thing that nobody in the media is flat out saying is that this entire operation is being run through Jeff Roe. ‘Rove without the V’ is basically the one who leads to robocalls encouraging people to call Ted Farnen and lying about Chuck Graham.
When you consider that CTC sent $4K to Axiom for phones, then you either have to wonder about details. Such as “how many phones? where are these phones located? who is recording these calls?”
And will Jeff arrange for someone to pay the phonebill for his sockpuppet?
