Can Kenny even pretend that he can win this?

State Rep. B.J. Marsh is putting friendship above partisanship by endorsing Democratic Attorney General Jay Nixon in the governor’s race over fellow Republican Kenny Hulshof.

“I put friends above politics,” Marsh said Tuesday.

Marsh said he was turned off by Hulshof’s campaign in the GOP primary when he ran ads comparing state Treasurer Sarah Steelman — who Marsh endorsed — to Nixon.

After watching Hulshof’s television ads, Marsh concluded: “If she’s just like Jay Nixon, then I’m for Jay Nixon.”

Man, the most ridiculous ad of the primary season just keeps paying off for Kenny, doesn’t it?

Marsh joins former Rep. Chuck Wooten (also from the Springfield area) in endorsing Jay Nixon over Kenny Hulshof. Although by this point, it’s worth asking if any elected Republican would publically back Epicfailshof over Jay Nixon.

The Republican party has settled on one conclusion for their Gubernatorial loss: Blame Sarah Steelman for everything. It’s Sarah’s fault for ‘getting out of her place’, yaknow. This whupping has nothing to do with Hulshof’s erratic campaign, his lack of any record, or the fact that Jay Nixon is hitting him with cannonballs. It’s all on Sarah.

Apparently the Blunt-approved candidate would have been just fine if nobody bothered to oppose him in August. Ha. Yeahright.
