In the last 40 years of presidential history in the United States of America, we have had just two democrats in the White House, and they too were Southern Baptist’s. Also, according to a recent Newsweek Poll more people (40%) tend to highlight themselves in the bracket of conservatism than liberalism, which tends to hold just (20%).

Now, polls isn’t the only logical argument I would like to sell you in terming America to be more conservative than liberal, after all we all remember New Hampshire in the democratic primaries. But, then if that’s not the case, why is it the liberals that have to prove their patriotism and faith? I mean Sen. Obama was pushed on a defensive mode about his religion, faith and patriotism, but why him, why only the Democrats, why not Sen. McCain and the GOP?

The Republican Party, which reestablished itself after the Civil Rights Act and came to power on the divide and rule policy through aspects such as Roe v. Wade, gay rights etc, have had to never answer their issue of patriotism while shipping jobs away, linking terrorism to Islam and giving tax incentives to million dollar babies of the Wall Street. While, Democrats who support gay rights, restrain gun rights, take stand SUCH as pro-choice on abortion are termed leftists, communists, socialists and god knows what elites.

I mean why is it that in a state such as California, often termed to be bluest of the blue might ban gay marriage through proposition 8?, while Sen. Obama might still win it by a margin of 15-20 %. Why the Democrats have to worry about their NRA ratings and gun rights, when majority of the Republicans believe that global warming is not man made. I mean why are we answerable time and again? You, answer now.
