Given Judy Baker’s polling strength of late, I’m hoping the Obama numbers hold up and there’s a real coat tail effect….here in the red, rurl, south-of-I-70 portion of MO-09.
It will be telling how my county’s numbers change on the Presidential election (we went 3:1 for President 19% in 04). If that drops off somewhat, it’ll mean my wingnut neighbors will have sat on their asses at home come Election Day.
And that might just be what it takes to squeeze Baker into Hulsoff’s old seat.
Man, first (no)Talent gone (despite McCaskill’s mediocre record as a Democrat, at least she’s not that craptucular hack), the the prospect of Hulsoff needing to find a spot on the wingnut welfare circuit and now a real chance of replacing him with a progressive Dem in MO-09?
The world’s turned upside down.
…the poll.
This report has some crosstabs.
38% of the sample are Democrats, 31% republicans, 28% independents. 54% female, 46% male.
