Judy Baker, the Democrat in Missouri's 9th Congressional District, went up on radio with an introduction ad, the first from either candidate in the general election.
From the Baker Campaign:
Baker highlights her background as the wife of a minister, mother of three, health care advocate and State Representative who fought Gov. Blunt’s plan to cut the health care of more than 200,000 Missourians and cut her own benefits instead.
Baker came out of a three-way primary with a substantial 13 point win. A recent poll has her up two points in a district Bush won by 19. This is a DCCC Red to Blue race.
