There were approximately 450 people in attendance at the Ike Skelton campaign event held tonight at the Johnson County Fairgrounds just west of Warrensburg. Congressman Gene Taylor (D-MS 4), one of Congressman Skelton’s colleagues on the House Armed Services Committee, was a guest of the dean of Missouri’s congressional delegation.

A number of legislative district, state senate, and statewide candidates were also in attendance, taking the opportunity to connect with voters and party activists from the twenty five county area which makes up the 4th Congressional District.
