Hi all,

Of course the big news this week are the primaries on Tuesday!  In the grand scheme of things, voting in these local elections can be as important for the long-term goal of building a progressive Democratic Party as voting in national races.  Please do your part and vote!

Some additional news:

(2) A new facebook group has been formed for Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates (MIRA): you can join it at http://www.facebook.com/group…. .

(3)  Looks like there’s a big rally coming down the pike in support of Anheuser-Busch employees, in advance of contract renegotiations with InBev.  Be on the lookout for an invitation from me with the event details.

Have a fun and meaningful week,
