Despite a half hour thundershower (I tried to hold my umbrella over the Fritos, but they ended up a soggy mess), we had a great time. Once the weather cleared, the temperature was ideal.
My condolences to those of you who missed it. It was excellent company (there were maybe 25 of us?).

A lot of people who showed up were lurkers on Daily Kos and Show Me Progress (hi there!) Many of the lurkers had no idea there were other blog readers in St. Louis, much less people who blog.
I always love when lurkers de-lurk.
And even though we got a little damp in the middle it turned out to be a beautiful day after the rain passed.
It’s always nice to put faces to names.
btw – somebody left a maroon colored umbrella. I have it if anyone wants to claim it.

It was nice meeting all of you. My kids were a bit bored but then again they are at most ‘adult’ things. Looking forward to the next outing…
