Someone is having a less-than-steller day.  After her questionable early morning column, Jo Mannies posted a diary suggesting that Barack Obama’s call for volunteers to help sandbag in Missouri showed that Missouri was a swing state.  Her exact quote:

While not discounting the humanitarian motives, the latest action of Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign should also dispel any doubt about the crucial nature of Missouri in this year’s presidential contest.

Of course, yesterday Obama asked volunteers to help sandbag in Quincy and Niota, Illinois, so I guess by Mannies’ logic that makes Illinois a crucial swing state as well.  Meanwhile, as I saw on Kos, while Obama was asking volunteers to help, McCain was praying for them.
