Here’s an anomaly: an alderman’s race with statewide importance. Tommy Roberts recently won the alderman’s race in the third ward in St. Peters, which is in St. Charles County. The Missouri state party chair, John Temporiti, and Representative Jake Zimmerman, co-chair of the House Democratic election committee, made sure to congratulate Tommy with a slap on the back and a handshake.
