The DNC’s new ad lacerates McSame for his remark about staying in Iraq. The Huffington Post points out that:
The McCain campaign is sure to go apoplectic over the spot. In the past few months, they’ve sent out no less than 13 emails decrying the use of the “100 years” line by his political opponents. But the DNC plays it smart by not characterizing McCain’s words, and it’s hard to argue with the tape.
McCain’s going to run on his foreign policy “expertise,” blurring his Iraq war record to pull in both moderates and hawks. Hell, he won antiwar Republicans in primary after primary over Ron Paul, and he was arguably the most hawkish candidate from the beginning!
So it’s good to see the DNC taking McCain on in his so-called strong point.
And seniors have more time to sit and watch tv — with all the political ads running non-stop this fall. I think I’m going to like this campaign in the fall.
