Jason Rosenbaum of the Columbia Tribune interviewed the latest “Republican” to come forward to run for Kenny Hulshoff’s seat. “I not only was a football player…I was in social studies class as well…”
Just amazing. I can not wait to see this guy on the campaign trail in debate with Rep Judy Baker. Judy is not waiting for anyone to tell her what the issues are. She is experienced, passionate about peace, education, global warming and health care reform, and is ready to go!

Steve Gaw would also clobber Brock Olivo when it comes to the spoken political word. He’s very experienced at the kind of job he’s seeking, along with having good credentials on the issues (from what i’ve noticed).
If Brock Olivo is the answer, then i don’t know what question the 9th District Republicans were asking.
I’ll defer the post noting how Lyman Bode would whup Brock Olivo to another person.
Did you dig that budding Cheney sneer? How very nice for him that he feels “passion”, but what a dunderhead.
About the other candidates in the 9th congressional district
I haven’t talked to Joe Smith but people I lobby issues with tell me there is nothing above his shoulders.
Bob Onder gives me the creeps. I am not sure if he is trying to hit on me or if he is just wierd.
Danie Moore is nice but not a ball of fire.
