SurveyUSA released a 600 sample poll today taken in Missouri from January 11th through the 13th which shows that dubya’s poor approval rating is, well, really poor. The margin of error is 3.9%.
The poll was sponsored by KCTV in Kansas City.

Like the recent SurveyUSA Iowa poll, the disapproval number from self-identified Democrats is remarkable. One can’t get much closer to universal derision within a group.
In six of the eight issues which interviewees stated their top issue for the next president (the economy, health care, Iraq, the environment, Social Security, education) dubya had strong net disapproval.

dubya had net approval from interviewees who cited “terrorism” or “immigration” as the top issue for the next president.
Like the Iowa poll, the issue for the republican base is fear. Terrorism and immigration – that’s all the republican candidates have got.
