Chris Koster’s campaign issued the following press release today:
Missourians for Koster Statement on Missouri Ethics Commission Ruling
ST. LOUIS-In response to the Missouri Ethics Commission ruling that political candidates who received contributions in excess of current contribution limits must either return the contributions or file a claim of hardship, the Koster campaign released the following statement:
“Today, Missourians for Koster notified the Missouri Ethics Commission that they intend to begin the process of returning contributions from individuals in excess of current contribution limits.”
So after months of saying we should have unlimited contributions he finally relents but not before every other statewide candidate including Matt Blunt says they will return the money. Gibbons even beat him to the punch.
Next step for the imposter will be laundering money through a bunch of committees. Let me see Sinquefield #101 gives the max, Sinquefield #102 gives the max, Sinquefield #103 gives the max. You would think they can at least come up with some different names or maybe skip every other number.
I think I have made the point here. I must admit there are some good D’s that believe the limits should be lifted. But there isn’t anyone that has as abysmal a voting record as the imposter. The health care cuts, voter id, CAFO’s, MOHELA, removal of campaign contribution limits, funding for first steps, the foundation formula, sex education in the schools and every single Blunt budget bill. For those counting that’s more than fifty bills. I am a pretty tolerant gal with low standards. I will take a guy that’s wrong half the time because hey that is guys but not a guy that’s wrong every time.
I wonder if this will apply to Sinquefield PAC money.
