Missourians for Constitutional Freedom, the PAC gathering signatures for an initiative to place women’s reproductive rights, women’s health care, and access to abortion on the ballot, and their allies held volunteer training, petition signings, and rallies across locations in Missouri Tuesday evening.

Hartzell Gray: ….We realize that the task ahead may appear a bit daunting. However, this room has the most important role in this campaign. You are the hearts and the soul of this campaign. You represent the majority of us. Don’t get that twisted. When they say a bunch of nonsense, no, this is a majority of us. [applause] And by the way, a super majority of the state population that knows that abortion care is health care and health care is a human right. [applause] We know that we are stronger together. We are stronger than the anti-abortion politicians, the ghouls, in Jeff City. They fought us at every step. Because they’re scared. They don’t want this smoke. [voices: “um, hum.” “Right.”] Thay are scared of what the people in this room and of what the people at the ballot box are going to do. Not what we can do, what we are going to do. [applause] They are scared of our power….
