Just wanted to give people in the neighborhood of Columbia and Saint Louis area a heads up about this Saturday.
Highlighting the yawning gap between Republicans and Democrats in trying to bring more ordinary citizens into the political process, both the Democratic National Committee and Barack Obama have been conducting massive voter registration drives across America to make sure that more voices are heard this November and beyond. As a part of this push, Howard Dean will be rolling through Missouri on a people (and renewable fuel) powered bus on the Register for Change tour.
We’ll have a couple of more updates soon, plus coverage of his stops in St. Louis and Columbia this Saturday. Stay tuned!

I learned yesterday (after emailing DFA Columbia folks abput Howard’s visit) that the venue next to Hearnes Center was cancelled by Aldon…the MU Athletic Director (and big time Republican)
Folks are scrambling to get it back and/or find a new venue.
