Kevin Morgan, the Democratic Party candidate in the 38th Legislative District, released a video ad yesterday:

Kevin Morgan (D): I grew up here in Excelsior Springs, in Clay County, in what’s now the Thirty-eighth District.

I support public education as an investment in our children and state’s future. I’ll work hard to provide adequate funding for educators’ and students’ needs.

I advocate the historic tax credit program. It’s putting Clay Countians to work in redeveloping our historic districts. Properties that were blighted are now revenue producers. This is part of a bright future for Clay County in the tourism area.

Underemployment is a real issue in this district. I’m focused on bringing quality jobs that provide wages that are adequate for workers to support their families.
