Last year, I joined our congressional delegation in urging state leaders to prioritize rural healthcare through the Rural Health Transformation Program.
Now Missouri is putting that $216 million to work — strengthening rural hospitals, expanding emergency and maternal care, and training more professionals. 🏥

Today’s current event that is making national news is Children Mercy Hospital.
The desperation in the parents of young patients was heartbreaking to hear.
Currently its affecting about 400 Children getting cut off from Healthcare through the ACA cuts in the big beautiful bill.
The news reporting states the actual number could be closer to 55,000 Children being denied future Healthcare services.
Many ACA insurance plans are being utilized by are small buisnesses and entrepreneurs who don’t have the benefits of an employee group plan.
Alford likes to talk about what he’s done for rural hospitals, but its all talk ,since many of these cuts are happening in January 2027
Alford has turned his back on Children’s Healthcare.
