So, the teabagger enablers are complaining that the IRS 501(c)4 scrutiny cost Mitt Romney (r-1%) the election. Cause and effect? Power and greed trump logic every time.

However, it forbids political activity by eligible groups. Nonprofits, for example, cannot endorse or campaign against a specific candidiate. If swinging the election was a goal for any of these tea party groups (cough) then they did not deserve 501(c)4 status in the first place.
