Sen. Obama is not a Muslim, but even if he was a Muslim would that have disqualified him from becoming the President of the United States? Of what I understand of the 1st amendment, every individual in the United States has the right to choose his religion, and so Sen. Obama decided to adopt Christianity which was his mother’s religion instead of Islam which was his father’s religion. Also, to my knowledge there is no provision in the constitution of the United States that an Arab-American cannot become the President of the United States. So, exactly what kind of problem people have in choosing a Christian with the middle name Hussein to be the president? For once people, Muslims are humans too, and as of the terrorist factor, well terrorists have no religion.
