Jeez, they’re at it AGAIN. With the NRA’s fav as president. Said moronic bill asserts “regulating commerce” does not include the power . . . to dictate as to what sort of arms and accessories law-abiding Missourians may buy, sell, exchange, or otherwise possess within the borders of this state.” The nimno who introduced this bill has a degree in Administration of Justice from Hannibal-LaGrange. Guess that Baptist college failed to teach their students about Google searches, because that’s how easy it was to find the SCOTUS ruling in MILLER v. US (1949), upholding the National Firearms Act of 1934 that controlled sawed-off shotguns and automatic firearms because of, yes, the Commerce Clause.
He’s behind all bad gun bills for past several years…thinks women on campus should be armed to repel sneak-attack rapists.
