I wish it were. This is what passes for normal in the Missouri General Assembly.

As a retired teacher and principal, this is just like home schooling–a continuation of the utter contempt they have for training, experience, certification standards, etc. To them, the best qualifications seem to be no qualifications.

For right wingnuts that’s a feature, not a bug.

You know, when Donald Trump declared “I love the poorly educated” after the Nevada caucuses, he was obviously referring to Robert Ross.
I see Robert Ross is also a big proponent for Voter I.D. cards.
How about minimum I.Q. limits for Missouri legislators?

It’s the hallmark of ignorant people that they don’t know they’re ignorant. They have no compunction about running for elective office. All they have to do is convince a bunch of Americans, the ones who (on average) haven’t learned anything since the age of 12, to elect the image their advisers create for them.

..or a brain surgeon, or nuclear engineer or French chef. The sky’s the limit. If you can handle a job as tough and demanding as Missouri assemblyman, obviously you can do anything. BTW, where did the ‘injinear’ quote come from?
