Those especially thick-skulled crazies otherwise known as birthers are running an informercial pushing their obsessive claim that President Obama was not born in the U.S., and is not, therefore, really the president. The infomercial is running in only a few, mostly southern cities — including Springfield, Missouri. So tell me, what is it about Springfield that merits this dubious honor? Why am I so embarrassed for Missouri?

for the $30.00 they want people to send? And even if they are, maybe they’re also lining their own pockets just a little? I have no real idea about costs of such things, but surely it is high time for somebody to figure out that this level of stupid is a real cash cow more than ready to be milked?
Can someone tell me what channel it’s running on here in Springfield so I can avoid that channel like the plague? Yes I agree that Springfield is the “wingnut mothership” and I’ve lived here my whole life.
