The state of the U.S. Senate race (May 8, 2012)

There’s a difference between rhetoric and insanity (May 9, 2012)

At a campaign stop, Tea Party activist Scott Boston said “we have to kill the Claire Bear,” referring to U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill.

Meanwhile, Steelman and her son and Deputy Campaign Manager Sam Steelman, stood nearby. After hearing the remark, Sam Steelman applauded.

Scott Boston (teabagger): …I’m thrilled to be here today with Andy Kramer (sp) of the tea party express because they, they have found a candidate they like, the United States Senate, that’s Sarah Steelman.

They are touring all over the state in support of her candidacy. [inaudible] We have, we have to get Claire McCaskill out. We have, we have to kill the Claire bear, ladies and gentlemen. [applause] Who walks around being some sort of rainbow bright, uh, care bear or something, but really, she’s an evil monster…

How erudite.
